Default whats your fave Stephen King book?

I haven't read all of his, but my most fave is The Stand, the very first original, I don't know if I want to say unedited version,, but he has a foreward in it, that says when it first came out he really had to cut alot out and this new version was the original.

    My next faves would be:
    Bag of Bones
    Gerald's Game
    It
    The eyes of the Dragon

    etc, etc.

DBF has almost every King book there is - even the different versions.
But, I liked Rose Madder best so far (I've only read a handful so far).

The Stand, it could easily happen and makes you really think about mankind and how we treat each other/where we're going.

I enjoyed the Green Mile and I liked Cell. My DH has all of the Stephen King books, but I have yet to read all of them. He just got the new one Duma Key.

I felt like Cell was just a very similar story to the Stand, was sorta disappointed with it. I have the Green Mile, but haven't read it yet. I did see the movie and really enjoyed it.

I love The Stand. I was returning the book from the lib. and a bunch of army trucks drove past. It freaked me out alot.

It is really hard to pick a favorite, but I will go along with the Stand. Why don't we start a Stephen King book club?
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

The last I read was the Cell. I didn't like the ending of that one. I like most of his others, even the oldest ones like Carrie.

I used to be a big fan of Kings but don't get much time to now. My first King book was Firestarter when I was 12.
Hmmm well I got spooked out reading IT and couldn't finish it. I was only about 14 at the time. I loved Bag of Bones. Have read the first 3 books or so of the Gunslinger series but go lost reading the fourth one so gave up.
Hmm will have to think about what others I liked can't remember them now lol
