LOST theories

I would love to know what everyone's theory is about this show. Here are some of the angles I've heard: this is all in Hurley's mind, Bermuda triangle, purgatory, they're all in a psych ward, etc.

I don't really have a theory . . there's so many angles this could be looked at.

So, what's your take on this whole thing?

And, what happened to what I thought was a "dinosaur"?

Oh, and what's with the dude that blew up (literally blown to tiny pieces) in that weird fence and then automatically reappeared later on with Charlie in the submarine?

I don't think he blew up, blood just started coming out of his ears. Now the science teacher with the nitroglycerin blew up into tiny pieces--during a visit to the Black Rock.

Yeah, that guy...the Russian, didn't blow up. He started seizing and foaming at the mouth, but he didn't blow up. In the first season, the science teacher blew himself up at that old ship they were getting dynamite out of. That was gross lol.

Are you guys sure? I could have sworn that he blew up after touching that fence. See what I mean,this show has me so so LOST. I'm going to have to re-watch that episode.

well i do know that on another board, i read that the creator of the show said that they were not dead, in purgatory, in hell, or an a reality show. i'm at a loss as to how it's all going to come together.

Some kind of time travel? Maybe that would explain how the polar bear got in the desert. I heard a theory that Penny Widmore's dad is one of the bad guys out to get Ben.

I'm trying to figure out some of these forward flashes...who exactly is Ben, is he bad or good? Why is Sayid still around him after they are off the island? And what is Kate doing with Claire's baby??

It just gets more and more confusing, half of the early stuff I've forgotten already. I should go check out the LOST forums and see if I can get any more info!

My thoughts are...

Charlie is dead and his ghost did visit Hurley (we've seen many ghosts thus far)

Sayid was captured by Ben's man, and is now working for him in order to 'keep his friends safe' which may mean the people on the island or any of them or be an outright lie.

I kinda thought the funeral was for Sawyer. He has no family either.

Kate betrayed Claire and has the baby, Claire is on the island waiting for them to come back for her. Or she's just dead.

Locke loses it and Ben regains power. He's involved in some kind of international warfare.

I think Michael is the spy of Ben's on the boat.

I think the main man who decides (who we don't know yet, maybe the guy that visited hurley in the psych ward?) made a list of people he wanted off the island and Claire gave Kate the baby since she was on the list and Claire was not, either that or Claire dies.

I think the man in the casket is Ben and that's why Jack was so upset at the end of last season. Ben was his ticket back to the island.

There is also something on the island that allows ghosts to be seen, like when we saw Jack's dad at Jacob's cabin.

I also think that Penny's dad is involved since he's so rich and she made a comment in an earlier episode that "when you're rich you can find about anyone".

I don't think there's time travel involved, the show's just too complicated for that, but there maybe something like dimensions or cloning that hasn't really been explained yet. There is apparently some kind of time lapse because the rocket the freighter fired got there over 30 minutes after it was supposed to.

I LOVE this show. I've never really been interested in TV before, and never so intrigued by any shows, but I like that this one makes me think.

This show keeps me guessing all the time. Like last season when we saw the first flash forward, Jack's father was apparently alive. He was mentioned. Now how did that happen?
