The Right Stuff (they've got it!): NKOTB Reunion

Okay, is anyone else remotely excited about this. I'm feeling overwhelming pangs of nostalgia for my youth.

For my 11th or 12th birthday (don't remember which) my mom rented a limo and took some of my friends and I to see them at the Cleveland Collesium. AT the time, I was sure it was the best birthday EVER!!!

Well, they are going to have a reunion tour and album...and I have Hangin' Tough stuck in my head today!

Anyone else go through a New Kids on the Block phase?

HAHAHHAAHHA my walls were plastered with nkotb posters and whatever else i could get my hands on. i too got tickets for my birthday and showed up at the concert in my little black hat and shiny black shoes. oh lord..... anyway, i'll set my dvr for the today show tomorrow morning, i need to relive my youth for a day every now and then.

Actually it's not true. It was a rumor a while ago, Access Hollywood ran a story saying it was a hoax. And on Donny Walberg's MySpace, he denies the reunion.

I was a heartfelt fan as a teenager and I would definitely support a reunion!

Hmmm, the radio station I listen to said that the rumor was actually confirmed to be true this morning. They stated the source, but I wasn't paying all that much attention, because I was singing along to a NKOTB song they were playing in the background. Gosh, I LOVED those guys with all the love a 4th grader could have! I'd actually like to have the CD now! I guess we'll just have to wait and see about the reunion. There is a bad point though - these guys are like 40 so their voices have changed and I doubt the sound the same.

I am excited and they are now all so handsome.

They will be on the Today show on Friday to announce the reunion. I live in MA and Donny Walhberg was going to be on a local radio station here. Not sure if it happened as I had to get to work. I guess the rumor was leaked as they were suppose to announce it on the today show. Donny confirmed it when he was talking to a reporter.

I was excited when I heard the rumor a few months ago. I never would have imagined Jonathan would have ever agreed to it, as shy as he was/is.

Did anyone watch them on The Today Show this morning?

They'll be back on TTS May 16th performing live some of their new songs from their album. The album won't be released until August of this year. I can't wait until their tour dates are released!!
