Sept No Bus Challenge.
I seem to be spending a lot of money on taking the bus to and from work. About $4.50 for the day! I could always get a bus pass for $55, but I would really just rather not take it at all and put the money in my pocket. So I've come up with a challenge, trying to get to work without using the bus. This means either car pooling(may not happen), getting a ride from sister, parents or boyfriend(would prefer not to take this route either) or walk/bike.
I think I'm just going to try my luck at riding my bike to and from work. That'll save me money and give me some cardio each day. Now just to see how this'll pan out!
Wish me luck haha.Cass

Kerjack - you are certainly ambitious - sending good vibes and energy your way on this challenge. Let us know how you do each day!!

Day one was a huge success. My sister works the same shift as my Mom at work so they car pooled today and she let me use her car. No money spent on the bus.
On another note I got 25 more mins in at work today, so yay for extra money. Not a lot but hey, it's a start.Cass

Riding a bike to work would be nice....but I'm sure not with Canada's winters! Good luck on your challenge.

Doing well, keep it up. How long are you planning on staying off the bus?

Its acutally been going really well. I've only had to take the bus once.
Although that may ch,ge a bit since I'm working a new shift. Getting a ride in the morning is hard. I may start riding my bike, but it's also starting to get a bit cold.
We will see how this goes though!

Well I was forced to take the bus today. But as soon as I walked on the bus I noticed a sign over where I usually pay.
"Free Transit Today!"
YAY!! Makes me feel better, and that 2.25 is going right into my change jar.
