* got most of tomorrow's dinner prepped (marinating steak and cut up broccoli)
* staked the tomatos in the garden
* talked with kids about frugal summer ideas
* took a walk with DS and Sadie around the neighborhoodLast edited by brennasmom; 06-10-2012 at 09:07 PM.

Sunday:
-splurged on myself and bought a new bikini top, flip flops, shirt, earrings, and sunglasses...all for less than $40. I've recently re-embraced my fashionista, so not bad for that price.
-really gotta quit taking DD anywhere with me because she is the jr. fashionista of our household. She ended up with a pair of shorts, a shirt, and sunglasses to the tune of about $20. Still not bad. I'm teaching her how to shop the clearance racks.
-all meals at home, had leftover pizza for lunch. Have enough leftovers from dinner for lunch tomorrow.
-did most of our laundry today to avoid peak usage hours
-DS used his own money to buy video games he wanted
-used some rainwater to refresh flowers on deck, set container out to collect more water since it's supposed to rain the next couple of days.
-kids played outside with neighbors for free entertainment
-salvaged some strawberries that were about to go bad

*Dining room set and TV stand will be picked up tomorrow.
*My mom was kind enough to cook us dinner last night. Was able to use up some cheese I had frozen and we made HM mac and cheese. Had some leftover for lunch today.
*Went to CVS to get DH some soap (on sale). I was also lucky enough to spot a clearance on CVS brand baby wipes - instead of $10 a refill pack they were only $5. Got one pack, will probably go back tomorrow and get more, but wanted to see if I had any applicable coupons.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

Tuesday:
-spent $ today online for Bath and Body Works semi-annual sale. Stocked up for upcoming birthdays (3 of them), used coupon code, and spent less than I would have in the store.
-ate out dinner. Boo! Started with DD wanting to go with friends during break at dance, then DS and I went through the drive thru. Spent less than $10, but still...
-used up some leftovers for lunch
-made some $ at dance consignment shop. Woo hoo!
-kids had friends over for free entertainment
-rained again, no need to water gardens
-saved leftover water from boiling corn last night and poured it on flowers
That's all I've got for today!

Took left overs for lunch at work today and also took a box of oatmeal ( already have raisins and cinnamon there ).
Used scrap paper I'd cut up memo size for scratch paper to do totals on.
Supper from freezer.
Stopped on way home and bought milk and nothing else...although going to look at sale paper tomorrow on computer before the sale goes off for the week.
Lights off other than needed.

Wednesday:
-no spend day, but I did have DH bring us lunch from McD's to the pool. He spent $, not me. So I'm not claiming it!
-minimal driving
-dinner used items from our stockpile
-picked garden peas from our garden
-received beauty bag from Target in the mail
-wasn't great about using washer/dryer/dishwasher during off peak hours. It's hard to get it all done by 1pm. And I'm NOT a morning person!
-used melted ice from cooler to fill up dogs' water dish

*Got the Target Beauty Bag in the mail.
*Got a free book from our health insurance company in the mail on sibling relationships (as a side note, most of the benefits from our health insurance aren't great, but they do have AWESOME coverage/freebies for maternity).
*Drinking mostly water. Cheap and trying to get the last ten pregnancy pounds off.
*Also got free toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste at the dentist. Un-frugal part is that I have cavities for the first time in about 10 years - and enough that I need 2 follow up appointments to deal with them. Argh.
*Downloading free educational worksheets for DS to practise his letter and math skills.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)
