Friday, November 5th
Today wasn't a very frugal day. But, I've been pretty frugal all week, so I splurged a little today...and it was payday.
I started off the day, getting out of bed late, so it was a rush to get ready. Didn't have breakfast, but I did make coffee to take to work.
I had a microwave soup, but I was so hungry that I bought a $3 so so lunch.
Updated my direct deposit form at work, since I'll be having my paycheck deposited in two separate banks. Right now I have a savings account paying 4% so I want as much money as possible deposited into that account.
Went out with a friend to dinner. She brought a $5 off coupon and I had a coupon from a telephone survey for a free appetizer. Dinner, drinks, and tip came to $22, little pricey, but I allow one meal out a week in my budget.
DH just returned from out of town. He was starving so I warmed up my pasta leftovers from yesterdays dinner.
Staying home tonight...most likely will watch a Netflix movie.
I have a big auction ending on ebay tonight. Now, if it will only go higher.
I have soo much work to do over the weekend in the house and outside. So, the weekend decluttering begins!

~All meals at home today
~Had a little leftover chicken from dinner, will use the rest for a sandwich
~Went to Rite Aid for the free after rebate items. Used a couple coupons on one so I'll make money on those items
~Shopped the loss leaders at Meijer, and I learned that I wasn't saving as much money as I thought with my double coupons. Apparently, the store only doubles coupons on two of the same item. So, if you buy three of the same item with three coupons, they will only double two. Here I've been using 5 coupons at a time and only benefiting from two. I was soo irritated. Now, I know.
~Received a rebate check for $5.00, earned $2.00 in free gas from a grocery purchase...that was a nice surprise especially after my coupon fiasco.
~no heat on!
~Washed 3 load of laundry today, 2 were in cold. Hung 2 to air dry, and 1 in the dryer.
~Stopped at the thrift store, and ended up picking up several new clothing items. I got 8 shirts/t-necks, 1 sweater, and 3 pairs of pants for $32.73.
~Sold three things on ebay today. Didn't make much profit, but I at least got my money out of the items...more things leaving my basement!
~Deposited $15.89 in my EF.
