    Default Healthy Environment Challenge 4/2 - 4/9

    What have we done lately?

    4/2
    ~no aerosals used
    ~no driving anywhere today
    ~planting some flowers
    ~got another houseplant to help with indoor air quality
    ~recycling today!

    4/2...

    - no a/c used
    - no gas used except for the mower
    - hung a load of laundry to dry

    4/3...

    - didn't use a/c in the car on the way to our meeting (had to on the way home)
    - a/c still off in the house
    - eating organics

    4/2 - hung laundry
    - no driving

    4/3 - ran errands in a loop to minimize driving
    - purchased fruit & vegetables without using a produce dept bag
    - bagged all groceries in a paper bag brought from home
    - packaged bulk item in a container brought from home

    What a great challenge! I have so much to strive for and it helps to see what you all do..

    This week so far I have

    Used HM laundry soap
    Limited driving to only necessary trips
    Recycled the bags in the cereal box for marinading meat and storing items in fridge
    Recycled goat waste and straw in the garden
    Reused grocery bags...I save them and take them to the store to use on the next trip
    Thrift store shopping when possible to reuse others cast offs
    Reusing mailing items from items that are shipped to me
    Recycled printer cartridges at work
    Barb

    Menu planning - 5/3
    Carpet fund 40/40 l
    Christmas 2012 50/50 :
    Change Jar @ May 12 = 849.02 Boston Fund!

    Home Project Organizational Challenge - Bathroom windowsill painted
    Utility room - paint door and hang border
    Hook up water barrell
    Clean out bedroom closet
    Exercise 3x week/20 mins
    UFO for April - baby bib #1

    YEARLY GOAL TRACKING 2012
    Carpet fund @ May = 2650
    Christmas 2012 @ May = 390
    Change Jar = Boston = 849.02
    UFOs done 2012 = 0
    Organization projects 12/4

    Working on learning to be calm and content

    Every little tiny bit helps to get rid of that debt
