Not much here...
*Was going to place an online order since JJill is running a special, and of all the items I put into the shopping cart last night, three of them sold out, so rather than replacing them to hit the $ minimum for the special, I just didn't place the order. (Go laziness!! Remember to think about impulse purchases overnight!)
Yeah, that's really it. I ate out for lunch and dinner, I paid to get a pedicure, we have the heat and the lights on...just not a very frugal day.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

Today:
- Ate breakfast at home, brought lunch to school, made dinner with brown rice and frozen veggies.
- Left the fan off while showering (my house is so dry anyway, why suck out the available humidity??)
- Passed on a Starbucks run with my classmates/colleagues/whatever
- Washed two loads of laundry, one in warm, but the other in cold and hung both loads in my bathroom
- Bedroom is lit, as always, with only CFLs
- Printing articles for class in grayscale and in draft mode on copy paper in bulk from Sam's Club

- combined errands this morning while I was out taking ds to school
- washed a ton of ziploc baggies
- wrote an article for $
- hung a load of laundry (although i also put one in the dryer)
- paid my cc bill in full and online to save on a stamp
- did our budget for the next 2 weeks, it is looking very tight. There are about 5 things on it - mortgage, taxes, heat, medical bills, and the leftover $100 will have to cover everything else. Medical bills stink!
- borrowing books from the library and returning them on time
- heat at 65 day and 63 night
- made muffins from scratch for our breakfast yesterday and cooked them at the same time as the pizza was cooking
- made homemade chocolate syrupJennifer

Friday, March 2nd...
*No spend day (resisted temptation to go to Dunkin Doughnuts while I was out)
*Dinner was leftover spaghetti sauce and for the pasta I used up all the open boxes we had, so it was a "special shape assortment"
*Our apartment complex has been running a "Bingo" game where they post the numbers in the rental office, and the game ended Wednesday. I went down today to pay rent and took my card, and got Bingo, so I asked if they were still playing the game - they gave me my choice of 2 or 4 tickets to the local AFL Hockey team for any game I wanted (the property has season tickets) rather than the travel mugs they had left.
*Discussed some daycare arrangement with my MIL - she agreed that it was ok for us to use here employee discount for the daycare we want when a spot opens up (it's a daycare place where she works, so she gets an employee discount but only if it's directly taken from her check - she said she had no problem with doing that and us paying her back).
*DH has and eBay auction ending tonight and his item is up to $200 - should go for over $300.
*Got two boxes today that we can re-use - DH has a large item he wanted to eBay but didn't have a box (he does now!) and I needed a medium size box to ship something out that will fit in the box my coffee order came in.
*Lunch was leftovers from last night's dinnerLoving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

~ Fed 5 of us at Mc D's for $8.64
~ heat and lights off when we were gone yesterday
~ Used a GC to buy the last light fixture for the house and only paid $3 after GC
~ using recycled stuff for a craft auction....using antique stuff found in the shed of our new house
~ reworking budget today to get back on the wagon

~Ate all lunches and dinners at home this weekend
~My dad had to take a load to the dump, so on his way back he got us dirt for the garden (and paid for it), so that saved us $$ and about 3 hours this weekend.
~Planted lots of sugar snap peas, carrots, potatoes, lettuce and onions (cost about $6.00 for seeds but will save us lots of money on veggies this summer).
~Putting a few items on ebay today
~Washing the dog at home instead of taking her to the groomers
~My dad is building me a potting bench, was going to buy one so that saved over $150
~Dad got us free recycled redwood for our garden fence
~Sold our old loveseat for $275, going right into emergency fund.
