and diving in to a new home. We go to meet with the realtor tomorrow and sign the contract. The house is out in the country, not too far from where we are now, about 5 miles. It is only 2 years old and we all love it! We have never had a fireplace before, but now we will. It has an acre of land with it and we are surounded by ranch land on the left side of us and across from us. It has granite counters, a spa tub with the jets, and so many more extras that I am so in love with. The seller wanted $159,900, but we are giving him $139,900. (Can you tell he really wants to sell?) I am just hoping that everything goes well with the inspections and closing and we can get moved in without any problems. I doubt we are in by Christmas, but hopefully not too long after the new year.
I am so excited that I just had to share my news with the rest of my family.

Congratulations on your new home! I'm jealous because you got a ton of land and a newer house for way more than I did. But it's good! I hope your family loves it as much as you do.

Thank you! Prices are not that bad yet. The sellers transferred about 4 months ago out of state and have been paying two mortgages so they are desperate to get rid of it. We looked at it about 3 times before we finally decided on that one. It is appraised at $169,900. If I can get a pic of it, I will try to list it for you.

Here is a picture of the front of the house. You can tell that the grass is dead. DS#2 already said he will be out there putting in some good grass. He has to have a pretty yard. But, I do too, so we will work on landscaping this spring.
