I think I could actually handle this workout.
Any reviews? I'm saving for this and austins step aerobic one.
I'm going to see if the library or video store has it before I buy it though.
I really like it. My intention was to start using it again on Jan. 1st, but our City hit us with a lovely rezoning notice on Dec. 28th that heavily affects my subdivision so all my free time and energy has been going into research, petitions, designing flyers, talking to people, etc. I am exhausted! Hopefully after all this is over (still have a couple of weeks to go on it), I will get started back on Walk Away The Pounds.
I have the set that has 4 videos - 1 mile, 2 mile, 3 mile, and the 10-minute toning video. I think the set is great - I can tolerate Leslie (some of the ladies in the exercise industry are just too perky and bubbly for me and it gets on my last nerve!).

I also have the set, it is a quick easy (read: for uncoordinated people like me!) workout. It does give you a workout though, don't be fooled! WATP is raved about among the Weight Watcher member boards and I know many have been successful with the program. I do them because I have little space and I hate walking outside in the winter. Check out www.collagevideo.com and you can preview some parts of it, I'm sure.

I have a set as well and really like it. I need to start doing them again. My set has the one, two and three mile walks. I think Leslie can be a bit annoying at times, but she is tolerable. My set came with some weight balls that you fill with water. I opted to use the weights that came with my treadmill instead. I got my set of tapes at Sams, I think they were around $25.
I just rented the 1 mile walk from the library. i can only keep it for a week, but thought it would be a good way to check it out! I just sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago...Is this something I can do with a slightly messed up ankle?

Tara~ My opinion is no, this isn't something you can do with a messed up ankle. Even though it's low impact, you will be on your feet constantly moving for 20 minutes or so. You will be walking/marching in place, stepping from side to side, do leg kicks and knee lifts as well as using your arms. I think it might be a little much until your ankle heals (jmo).

I love WATP's. I bought the 1 and 2 mile DVD for $10 at Best Buy. I had the VHS set of the 1,2, and 3 mile but I sent it to my mom. I try to do at least 6 miles a week.

Guess what Gabe got me? wahoo. I got watp 1-4.
1-3 were bundled and 4 came separately. (but no ten minute toning video ) I'm really happy and excited.
It was on sale at Media Play. If I love it, I'll invest in the dvds. I'll let you know what I think once I try the workout.
Maybe she should have made one called Walk Away The Pounds "down your driveway and back" LMAO

What a great motivating gift! Have fun!! I do think you'll like them...at least for easing into the exercise!

Eileen, if you're doing the 2 without a problem, doing the 3 mile shouldn't be that bad--just a little more challenging.
