Oprah had Bob Green are her show today and they were talking weight loss.
The main question we should ask ourselves, are we willing to do what it takes to lose weight rather than saying I want to lose weight.
They also talked about our health is sacred. Have you ever thought about that - wow that really hit me.
So my question is - are you willing to do what it takes to lose weight. That means, drinking water, excersising, eating smaller portions and cutting out sugars, salt and high carbs.
Health is what motivates me. Even if the pounds remain, I don't want to fill my body with junk anymore. There is so much in life that I can't control, but treating myself well is under my control.

I taped this show and watched it last night! It's so true that ultimately it is ME that has to do this. Not Oprah, not Bob, not anyone but me!!
Dr. Phil said something yesterday too that was great, something we all know but a lightbulb went on~~the next 5 months are going to happen whether we like it or not....what are we going to do about it?? Lose weight and get healthy or NOT!!
I think for me, it's more than just a pound or two, its about a life style change thats not easy to do. For so many years I was able to eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound and although I enjoyed it while I could, it makes things harder now because all my life I ate a certain way and now I can't.
I saw on Oprah the other day (and i usually don't watch her because of the timing of her show here) but the lady from the Judds was on and talking about how much of a weight problem she really has, and it had on her a camera and the main thing is that she didn't exercise like she was suppose to and for me I think its the hardest point is making it a routine.
I recently joined a small health club in our small town and I go almost everyday for an hour, and I go even though I don't want to go, but I am noticing how excited I get just by doing alittle more each week.
It's not going to be easy, but I am trying to make it part of my everyday life. To me it's not just a matter of the latest diet craze, or gaining back a pound or two more, I think I want to try to make it a life change
