    Lightbulb Terrariums

My brownie girl scout troop is making mini-worlds to learn about the Earth. Does anyone have a suggestion for a frugal container that can be used? It has to have a lid.

A two liter bottle.... .. Pour in potting medium, take the plants apart carefully at the roots and drop through the top. Fashion tools out of coat hanger wire to dig the holes, push down the plant and cover them up... Much like the tools needed to build a ship in a bottle... You can also use jars and tall decorative jars .... The long ones used to store spaghetti and pasta look nice....
Add a bit of water and root stimulater afer it is completed..... Hope this helps...

or i think my daughters group actually cut the bottle apart and put the top back on. Also big plastic jugs from resturants, (worth a try anyway) They will have a lid, good luck
