Rain Barrels (make your own)?
I know I saw a post on here a while back about someone making their own rain barrel and there were pictures, but I can't find that post, can anyone point me to the post, pretty please?

It's funny this subject just comes up. My husband is on his way as I speak to get two barrels for me. We are getting them for $8 each. Not bad considering they are over $60.00 online. My garden will be very happy this year.

Here are some directions for rain barrels.
Screw 2" bushing into the lower side bunge of barrel, attach hose bib to the 2" bushing. Attach garden hose and put up on the 2 concrete blocks. You now have a gravity flow rain barrel!
You may want to use silicone on the threads to prevent leaks!
Here is the supply list:
55 gallon barrel(or a 30 gallon plastic barrel)

This is set up for gravity flow and pressure pumped!
2" pipe thread to 3/4" pipe thread bushing

3/4" hose bib to turn water on and off

garden hose

2 concrete blocks
