Stove Top

Does anyone know how to make stove top from scratch?

As I don't live in the US I can't buy it here, but really like it.

I did bring home some packages, but they are all finished.

Here is one I use, and we like it.

Instant Stuffing Mix

3 1/2 cups toasted bread cubes
3 Tablespoons dried celery flakes
1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
2 teaspoons dried chicken boullion granules
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon sage
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons butter or margerine

To prepare stuffing:

In a saucepan over medium heat bring water, butter, and seasonings to a boil. Add bread cubes and mix gently. Cover and stand for 5 minutes.

When I first read this post, I was quite impressed at your devotion to frugality: I thought you were making your own top of the stove/oven, as opposed to Stove Top stuffing mix.

But indeed, that is a fantastic recipe, and thanks for sharing.

LOL, no I am not that handy! Sorry if I got you, and probably some more on the wrong foot here.

But the recipe sounds great! I will definitely make it as I love Stove Top!
