    I just spent way too much time typing recipes from The Naturally Clean home by Karyn Siegel-Maier If is looking for a non-toxic cleaning recipe with Essential oils included I would be happy to share what I have. Just let me know.

    Here are the kitchen and bath recipes I have collected so far, they are from various sources.

    All purpose spray cleaner
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    10 drops Tea Tree or any citrus EO
    ~Combine in a 16 oz spray bottle, shake before each use.


    EASY DISH SOAP RECIPE
    2 cups liquid castile soap
    1/2 cup water
    2 EO drops (lemon, orange, tea tree or lavender)
    1/2 cup white vinegar
    ~Combine and store in a squirt top bottle. Use 2 tablespoons per load of dishes; shake a little before use to blend the ingredients.

    Dish Cleaning Liquid
    ~not for dishwashers
    1/4 cup soap flakes
    2 cups hot water
    1/4 cup glycerine
    1/2 teaspoon lemon essential oil
    ~ in bowl combine soap flakes and water and stir until the soap is dissolved. Cool to luke warm. Stir in the glycerine and the essential oil and cool. It will look like gel. Stir pour into a container. An old shampoo bottle makes an excellent container.
    Squirt into hot running water.


    Basic sink cleanser
    ¼ c. baking soda
    ½ c. vinegar
    3 drops EO (lavender, lemon, lime, or orange)
    ~Combine scrub with damp cloth, rinse.

    Country spice sink scrubber
    1 c. baking soda
    3 t. ground cinnamon
    3 drops sweet orange EO
    ~Combine in airtight container (spice shaker) sprinkle & scrub with damp rag. Rinse well.

    Sink scrubber for stains
    1/4 c. borax
    ¼ c. baking soda
    8 drops EO (tea tree or eucalyptus)
    ¾ c. vinegar (for rinsing)
    ~Combine 1st 3 items in air tight container shake well to blend, sprinkle & scrub with damp rag, rinse with vinegar, followed by hot water.

    Lemon Blast Kitchen cleaner
    1 t. liquid castile soap
    1/8 c. vinegar
    ¼ c. lemon juice
    2 c. water
    6 drops citrus seed extract
    4 drops citrus EO
    1 t. borax
    ~Combine in a 16 oz spray bottle, shake well before each use.

    Citrus Cleaner
    1 gallon hot water
    2.5 tablespoons liquid soap
    20 drops orange essential oil
    10 drops lemon essential oil or 1/4 cup lemon juice
    ~Mix.

    Kitchen appliance degreaser
    2 c. water
    ¼ c. Murphy’s oil soap
    10 drops citrus EO
    ~Combine in a 16 oz spray bottle, shake before each use.

    Citrus Floor Cleaner
    1 gallon hot water
    2 T. liquid castile soap
    15 drops orange EO
    8 drops lemon EO or ¼ c. lemon juice
    ~Mop as usual!

    Bathroom cleaner spray
    1 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    10 drops EO (lavender, tee tree or other)
    ~Combine in a 16 oz spray bottle, shake before each use.

    Mold & Mildew prevention formula
    2 c. water
    8-10 drops citrus seed extract
    2 t. tea tree EO
    4 drops lavender EO
    ~Combine in a 16oz spray bottle; shake well before each use, let sit a few hours if necessary.

    Mold Deterrent Spray
    1¼ c. vinegar
    ¾ c. water
    2 t. tea tree oil
    10 drops lavender EO
    ~Combine in a 16oz spray bottle; shake well before each use, let sit a few hours if necessary.

    Scouring Powder
    1 cup baking soda
    1 cup borax
    1 cup regular salt
    ~Combine all ingredients and keep them in a
    tightly closed container.

    Soap scum Remover
    1 T. baking soda
    1 t. salt
    2 drops lavender EO
    Vinegar- just enough to make a paste
    ~combine; Scrub & rinse

    Fizzy bathroom cleaner
    ½ c. baking soda
    6 drops EO (lavender or lemon)
    ¼ c. vinegar,
    ~Combine soda & EO, sprinkle onto surface to be cleaned, spray vinegar on top, let fizz settle, scrub and rinse.

    Germs-be-gone Toilet cleaner(external)
    2 c. water
    ¼ c. liquid castile soap
    1 T. Tea Tree EO
    10 drops eucalyptus or peppermint EO
    ~Combine in a 16 oz spray bottle, shake before each use.

    Easy-does-it toilet bowl cleaner
    ½ c. baking soda
    ¼ c. vinegar
    10 drops Tea Tree EO
    ~Combine; add to toilet bowl, swish with toilet brush.

    Toilet Bowl Cleaner
    1 cup borax
    1/2 cup white vinegar

    ~Sprinkle the borax all along of the inside of the toilet bowl
    Pour the vinegar over the borax Scrub with a toilet brush.

    Spray Glass Cleaner
    1/4 cup white vinegar
    1 Tablespoon cornstarch
    2 cups warm water
    ~Put all ingredients into a spray bottle. Shake

    Glass & Mirror Cleaner
    1½ c. vinegar
    ½ c. water
    8 drops citrus EO of choice
    ~Combine in a 16 oz spray bottle, shake before each use.

    I have tea tree oil andlavender, peppermint oil need to get castile soap.
