How to make basic cold cream

Basic Cold Cream

1 egg yolk, beaten
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Combine egg yolk and lemon juice and stir with a wire whisk, gradually adding oils until mixture thickens. If it's too thick, addmmore lemon juice

1/2 sweet almond oil
5 tb water
2 tb melted beeswax
1/4tsp borax

put wax and oil in a double boiler and stir over a low hear until melted together with even consistancy in seperate sauce pan on med heat, heat the water and stire in borax until completely dissolved remove from heat while beating vigorously using a spoon or electric mixer ad the water/borax mix to the blend of wax/oils until all the water has been added. remove from
heat and continue to beat on a low seating until cool and creamy
pour into decorative containers and allow to cool completely before covering
