Do you know anything about lawn mowers?
Ours refuses to start. It's the cheapie Briggs and Stratton from WalMart. Dh has changed the spark plug, I've added new gas and oil, and the darn thing STILL won't start.

Anybody have a clue?

We used to have Briggs and Straton mowers.....we started calling them disposable lawn mowers....no offense but we could only use em for one season, MAYBE 2 and then they wouldn't work anymore. One time we paid more for repairs at a shop than a new one would have cost. We finally broke down and bought a 2nd hand John Deere and that things runs like a top, year after year. So Gina my advice is "throw it away and get another one!". Sorry, couldn't help myself!

Have you checked the fuel line for clogs and blown out or replaced the fuel filter.
Often if the mowers are stored over winter with out draining the gas out of them and putting in a protectant things get gummy and don't want to work. Good luck.
Oh, before you junk it or take it in--your local library may have a small engine repair book you can take out. Small engines really are not that difficult to work on. Check it out.
