Honey-Banana Smoothie
Been too busy to stock up on beauty supplies lately? These hair treatments can be mixed up at home as long as you have been able to make it to the market this week.
For An Intensive Once A Week Treatment, you will need:
1/8 teaspoon of lecithin
1/2 banana
1 teaspoon wheat germ oil
1 tablespoon plain yogurt
1 teaspoon sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon of honey
What you do:
Put all the ingredients into a blender
Whip until smooth like a smoothie
Resist the temptation to drink the mixture
Dampen your hair thoroughly
Work the mixture through your hair using downward strokes (use an old hair brush or comb to be sure to reach each strand of hair)
Wrap an old towel around you neck to catch the drips
Leave the treatment on for 45 minutes.
Sit back, relax, have a cup of tea and read the paper
Rinse out. Shampoo as usual.
If your hair is in need of extra moisturizing; put the mixture on your hair an hour before bedtime so it has time to dry. Put an old towel on your pillow and sleep with the mixture in overnight.
Rinse out. Shampoo as usual.
Use the mixture right away. Do not store.
