Lucky you to get to work in a thrift store. You get to see all the stuff as it comes in.

Good luck in making your own homemade bread. There's nothing like the aroma of it baking.

I use mine a few times a week. I make cinnamon raisin bread for breakfast sometimes. It works great for dinner breads, too. I experience with different grains and have made some really yummy breads. I also use it to mix pizza dough.

I have made bread both with a bread machine and without. I had better end results without the bread machine, but quicker mixing and rising with the bread machine. So, now I use the machine for the basic mixing and raising of the bread, then I put it in a bread pan to finish it in the oven. Works for me.
I think you will like the bread machine quite a lot. Congratulations!

I agree...there is nothing quite like the smell of break baking. Enjoy your new bread machine!

Like kabin63 - I have better luck using my machine on the "dough" setting and just baking it in the oven - but it does come out wonderful! I actually trash-picked mine out of the dumpster - the model was so old that the customer service department chuckled when I called them up to ask for a copy of the manual (they emailed it to me - has some good recipes in it).
