I have developed an allergy to pads so I'm looking to make some of the washable kind. Thanks for the link!

I started using cloth pads a couple of months ago, I LOVE them, when I first heard about them I thought that is was gross, but now that I have tried them, my cramps have gone away and my flow is much lighter and days have shortened.

Wow, that is a great site. I am a little hesitant, but might give these a try. My concern would be what to do when you are not at home?

I agree. I started making/selling my own cloth pads about a year ago. I love wearing these, though I am still partial to my Diva Cup

I love the reusable washable pads that I made a few years ago. I have really heavy flow and they are great!. Also no waste, trash or impact to environment.

I have been thinking about making some, too. I have tons of flannel, I just might try some.

Tampons are really bad for your plumbing when you flush them and regular pads just seem so wasteful.

I will be spending hours there just researching recipes. So far it looks like I won't be altering the ones there very much at all.

You can also check into the Diva Cup or Keeper. Lasts a *long* time, easier to care for, you don't have to walk around in your own blood.
