Default I miss my homemade soap!

We are up at our cabin for 10 weeks (dh finally retired) and at home I have several bars of a batch of Meinda Coss's recipe for "Dream Castile" made with olive oil and goats milk. (I use the cheapie olive oil in the HUGE jugs--she says it doesn't matter for soap--and canned goats milk which freezes nicely so I don't waste). Up here, I have Ivory in the shower and some of the Dial dh likes. I was getting dry and itchy, and felt like the Ivory wasn't rinsing well. So I bought Kirk's Original Castile bar (pricey at the little grocery in town!) --it was a little better and smelled great, but it's not my good stuff.

But I miss my Dream Castile. You can find the recipe in Melinda Coss' the Handmade Soap Book. I use it as a shampoo bar sometimes too, and then rinse with vinegar or lemon. I don't have the book or the equipment up here to make some soap. Ah, well.......
