    Default Nutella is like Crack

I just bought this for the first time ever last Friday. I'm slow.

I can't buy this stuff again. OMG, so good. The jar is almost gone between me and my kids digging into it.

How I've managed to pass this by, next to the peanut butter all these years, I don't know.

Anything yummy to bake with this stuff, besides eating it with a spoon??

I've made these without the kisses and orange sugar and they were good. I'll make them again this year. Chocolate-Hazelnut Smooches Recipe : Giada De Laurentiis : Food Network

Try it on warm brownies. Yum. Several years ago I made myself sick on it so that sort of cures one of any further ideas of overindulgence. It's pretty rich. Enjoy your new simple pleasure.

I totally agree...it is ADDICTIVE!!!!! Aldi also has it in their brand for about a dollar cheaper. It doesn't seem to have as much oil or something in it, but still tastes just as yummy. I am also saving the jars(which aldi's are glass) to store my dehydrated veggies that I use often in.

I agree. I absolutely can't buy it, because I have no restraint once it's in the house. Luckily, I have can not buy it pretty easily, so it just stays in the store.

    Smile

After reading these posts this morning, I just had to go to my kitchen and make some "Homemade Nutella" (my own recipe).
Used it on my last 3 pieces of bread....SO GOOD!
Then added some Betty Crocker Cheesecake Frosting to it, and it became even more decadent and delicious; kind of a mocha look to it. Oh oh, now I've gotta go and see what else it tastes good on.
    (Thanks for the reminder!)

You aren't the only slow one. I had no idea what it tasted like and would not buy it. It was on sale at a really good price and I asked a lady buying it if she liked it. She said yes and it is WONDERFUL.....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went back and bought more AND I don't have children at home to share it with!!!

It is so terribly high in calories but it is insanely delicious. It is so hard to eat just a little. My husband loves it too and we broke down and bought the store brand a few weeks ago and he ate the ENTIRE container in a few hours.
