Thank you, thank you, thank you Michelle!!! I received my RAOK gift today and I LOVE it!!! The tote is awesome and the yarn is gorgeous! I think I will make the hat and scarf set you mentioned. It would be perfect yarn for that.

Again, thanks! You are a sweetie. :hugz:

You should have let me know, we could have met up or you could have dropped by.
Our weather is terrible, wet, chilly. No summer at all.

They are little stinkers aren't they? I can just picture them jumping trying to get out. Glad you are joining the swap. Can you PM me your home address? Thanks! :)

Thanks for the comments on the pictures! Yes, the ducks are really growing fast and now they are getting their feathers except for the little runt. He still doesn't have any. :)

    COME JOIN THE FUN!!!!!

I don't know if this will be the first ever swap on FV or not but we are going to have one!

If you will to participate, send me your name and address by JUNE 15 th.

I will put all names in a box draw two at a time and match up swap partners.

You will then have until JULY 15 th to complete two - (2) dishcloths to send to your swap partner.

Whether you knit or crochet it is totally your decision. You can contact your swap partner, if you wish, to find out what color their kitchen so it matches their decor.

I will be placing an album in the picture section of FV so when you receive your dishcloths, take a picture and post in on the album. Make sure you include your name and swap partners name. (If you have trouble doing this, send them to me and I will be happy to place them on there for you)

We have such artistic, talented people and great cyber friends on FV let's spread it around!

Thanks for the info. These girls are growing so fast, they will soon be graduating from the crate to the shed where they can move around more.

Will the adult chickens hurt the little ones when we put them together? Our older chickens are almost a year old. These are the first new ones we got since we've had them. We are planning on keeping them seperate for a few months. Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Dean

Bring those hankies out of the drawer! You can't enjoy them hidden away. I display everything I love. Those hankies will probably be around long after you are gone.
Those buttons on the lamp also belonged to my greatgrandmother. She would carefully cut off all the buttons and remove zippers before using old clothes for her rag rugs. When she died, I got 5 canning jars full of old buttons.

Thanks for the picture comment. I saw pictures in Debbie-cats album, that she used windows like this for a makeshift cold frame. I told her to bring them in out of the weather and use them for crafts.

Thanks for the comments on my plants... I hope that the hot peppers do okay. I have to keep them inside for quite a while yet when it has been snowing on and off for the last two days! :D

I went to the Hazen flea market two weekends ago. I really like it. I usually go about 3-4 times each seasonthen stop at all the yard sales on the way.
Was the small town Leeper? Been there many times too! When DD #1 was attending Clarion University. It's not far at all.

Yes, the quilt was an attenpt at an Amish style design. I really like the brights on black and I have made several with the log cabin design. It's really amazing the different looks you can get just turning the blocks in different directions. This one turned out almost like a pinwheel.
I'm much farther north -3 hours from Pittsburgh. Near DuBois but way out in the boonies.

I know it's the largest size our JoAnn's Fabrics carries. Probably 1/2" X 1/2". It probably looks larger because I'm skipping every other row and its making the backside look like a rectangle instead of a square.
Thanks for all the nice comments on my pictures. Yes, they are apple blossoms. Our small orchard has 12 trees. Very old trees. The orchard has been there a long, long time. Since way before we owned the property. The parsley keeps on coming. I cut it and a week later it seems to be back in full force.

I don't use hooking fabric. I use old cloths and scrap fabric. Cut into about 1/2" X 4"-6" strips and just tie on.

Thank you, my walk in pantry was an absolute blessing in disguise. It used to house the huge honking fridge because when the previous owners remodeled the kitchen in the 70's they didn't leave room for it in the actual kitchen. So when we removed the fridge we were pleasently surprised by the room.
