Hi Diana! We are holding are own. Water looks to be receding fairly fast however we are still due storms today through Tuesday according to the forecast. The gravel road up the way is still water covered so we still can't get out. I am praying the school is understanding of our situation because I don't want to lose my job but right now its an hour round trip to get out (if we could) instead of the normal 15 minutes. When you just make $28 a day its hardly worth it. I just keep praying that by Wednesday or Thursday the roads open up.

    How are you and Perry?

    *hugs*
    Debbie

I think so. They said my primary focus should be the high schools but that there will be time to cover the colleges. I can't believe a school of about 1200 kids has so many sports!

I'm in print. I'll be the new sports editor for the Hannibal Courier-Post. I'll be glad to receive the "hi" :)

You read correctly, thanks for the well-wishes! I'm expecting to receive the official job offer today (unless I'm misreading the situation very badly), then it's 30 days notice, two-days for the cross-country move, and I'm there.

I lived in southern Illinois as a kid and went there on a few school trips. It's very beautiful.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great topic: What if you could buy no more clothing? I have really wanted to become independant in this area for a very long time and I' thinking, this topic may motivate me to finally get sewing again for myself and DH!! Thanks so much!!
