    That is an awesome idea. We have that already at the high school and at an elementary school where I worked. It was great...especially for the students who don't quite fit in, or the ones who had some behavior problems. It was like it was their niche within the school setting.

    It worked out great and even some of the teacher's aides chipped in their lunch time to help. If you can get the approval from the principal, maybe send a note home and see if there are any parents who like to play that might offer some time at lunch once in a while. You just never know! Good luck with the program. I am sure it is going to take off (like ours did) and be a great success! You are one special teacher to offer so much of your free time. Your school is very lucky to have you. :)

    I bet you did! It is such a great idea. I am a high school teacher and will definetely be introducing this to my school council. Thanks for the idea!
