Me!!! I see you're in Lawrence. Our son lives in Lawrence. Our son-in-law grew-up in Lawrence and attended K.U. Daughter attended K.U. and was married in the little chapel on campus. Love to shop the Merc. (Community Mercantile Co-op on Iowa) when we're in town.

I'm out here in the middle of nowhere - a little over 2 hours from Lawrence.

We are originally from St.Louis. But lived in Wichita 4 1/2 years, Colorado 6 years, Southern Cal 1 year, Bozeman, MT 18 months and now Lawrence since end of May.

My husband is a KSU grad. LOL

Never lived in Kansas, but love Wichita. It's got everything one could want in a city, but still has a small town feel.

Yep, I'm about 30 minutes north of Wichita

There are at least two gals here that live right in Wichita

I grew up in Manhattan and attended KSU my freshman year. My family moved to So Cal that year and I followed them and have been here ever since. I miss Manhattan and hope to get my dh to take me back to visit soon!!

I actually live in Missouri, south of St. Joseph, but I'm just 6 miles from the KS border! I grew up in Atchison, KS, and my parents still live there, so we visit pretty often.

Fluttermuffin, you're not from Horton by any chance, are you? You look like someone my cousin Amanda once introduced me to... only once, though, and it's been quite a while, so I could easily be mistaken! lol

I was raised in Kansas .. western area .. Goodland.

My mother was born in Topeka and raised in Holton. She married her first husband in Hiawatha.

My uncle lives in Lenexa.

I live in Colorado and was born here but always considered myself a Kansas girl.

YAY Kansas!!

I am glad there are other families in Kansas here.

But I have to say, you girls in Wichita can keep it!

I hated living in Wichita. I told my husband if Lawrence is anything like Wichita I am not going! I meant it too.

I was born in STL but my heart is in the mountains of Colorado. I want to move back.

I was born and raised in Atwood,Ks Northwest Kansas and live in Colby now....

yes CatholicRose... I do live in Horton. I was actually raised in St. Joe and worked 9 years at the Atchison hospital. My husband was raised here so when we married this is where we settled. Sadly, I'm not very good with names, so I'm not recalling who your cousin could be...
