    A woman in my homeschool group just started The Rolla Frugal Living Meetup Group and our first get together is this month in Salem. I am just so excited to have a RL group of frugal people to talk with.

    I'm about an hour and a half away . . . does that put me too far out to be in the group? I'd love to meet some other frugal families; they seem rather non-existent where we live.

    I think the group is open to anyone who wants to come, regardless of where you live. I'm only about 1/2 an hour from Rolla but Salem (which is where the first meetup is being held) is about an hour so I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter.

    Just a quick update... we got an email on the homeschool loop that the response has been so huge (YAY!) that she is no longer going to be doing it at her house, probably a park in Rolla.
