    I'm from Indiana too.. about 35-50 minutes west of Indy proper, depends on which road I take and if I let dh drive...

    Anybody up for an IRL in the new year? I notice most of us are rather close together in location...

    Oh, and Pepper, I know where you're located.. I'm writing a fiction novel set in your town... I'd love to pick your brain... I didn't even know there was a real Taylorsville, IN until I found it on RandMcNally.com

    I'm a misplaced Hoosier. I am originally from Logansport. Family moved to just north of Ft. Wayne. I now live in Japan. .....it's a long drive My dad was born and died in Delphi...which is real close to West Lafayette. (we always battled PU vs IU)

    My dad graduated from IU, and I was scheduled to go to Purdue {vet tech program} when I got pg with #1, he was more disappointed that I had applied to Purdue than that I got pg...lol

    we live near lafayette too. actually, about 30 min south of lafayette and 30 min west of indy....in a pretty small town called crawfordsville. i am originally from southern indiana (vincennes....just 50 min north of evansville), but hubby is from around here. so, this is where we moved. we have been here for a year and a half. i like it i guess. we are close to family, but i don't have too many friends.

    We aren't from IN but I wanted to say I think that it's so pretty there. My dbf goes there twice a year to teach at camp Atterbury(sp). So I've only been to Franklin and Edensburg (sp). And of course Indianapolis too. He's going up there again the first of March for 6weeks but I don't get to go this time.

    Anyone know where there is a dented can store in Indiana? When I lived in Colorado, there was one about 5 minutes from my house. I loved it.
