Hey everyone! I was wondering if there are other on here from Ohio. I am from the Cincinnati area. What are others in Ohio up to now that spring is here??
Yes...when they call for high winds..we have to tack everything down. We are in the middle of an open field, and have some fierce winds.
yesterday...was beautiful. I took a walk down at the lake..and watched the sunset with a friend~I should have taken my camera!
Yeah open fields around us too, soy beans one year then corn the next! And when the snow blows man can it drift! It can snow 1 inch, and the wind will pile 4 feet deep across my drive way! I am going to build a fence down the west side of my property next year just to defeat the blowing snow:angry:
I live in Columbus, a suburb just east of the outerbelt.
It's suppose to be getting hotter than all blazes the next couple days, almost 100 tomorrow. Irony is that yesterday it was only 79 degrees. With not having any significant amount of rain in weeks, I've been having to water my garden so I don't lose anything. I'm not looking forward to seeing the water bill
I'm in for a meet-up if anyone else is. It would be nice to meet others who are frugal minded since all of my neighbors spend money like its going out of style. I feel like the odd man out most of the time.
We lived in Ravenna, OH when I was in 2nd grade and then again in Kent, OH when I was in 9th grade. Loved Ohio both times! My husband and I are thinking of moving back to the Kent area or possibly Twinsburg...
