    Default Anyone else from Iowa?

    I noticed that there are some posts for people looking for other Iowans here, but the most recent one I came across was 4 years old. I am wondering if there is anyone currently here from Iowa. I am in Cedar Rapids.

    I'm from Fort Dodge area. So East, Central and West! Are you all still dry? We've have a couple little showers but still in critical dought area.

    I've lurked for a long time but see others with just a few posts so decided to jump in. I'm from the Ames area. I've picked up a lot of good tips from this site and may even start to post now and then.

    I'm 58 and retired early. My hubby is still working and I quilt, garden and volunteer. I have three kids and three grand-kids. I love finding a bargain and cooking good, wholesome food from scratch. So good to hear from people in areas close to me.
