My hubby and I are looking for a home or mobile home in Indiana. We are looking in Hammond ... it would be easy for him to get back and fourth to work.

HI I'm not from Indiana but we are about 45 minutes from Evansville. If I need to buy anything other than food I have to go there. Both of my boys were born there too. I live in Clay, Ky.

HI
Evansville is ok. It makes me nervous driving in it. I'm used to
the country. I live in town but its rural. I have a Aunt that lives
in Newburgh her name is Pam also. I was name after her. Have you been to the new Sam's there. I haven't and was wondering
if I should get a card. I would like to also see the new super Target.

Hi Pam,yes,I've been to yhe new Sams, but not Target yet. As for a card-we have one,but I figure we save the difference in gas by paying a little more here
We only go when we are in Evansville anyway-I only get spices, bulk sugar and etc, there. I think Sav-a-Lot is cheaper.
You might try going as someones guest, and decide from that!
Good luck! tell your aunt ,us Pams' have to stick together!

I live in Evansville. I go to sams a lot and I checked out the new target and it is ok. It really is just a bigger target with more clothes and toys. They have some more food but not a grocery store's worth. I live on the west side of Evansville so I don't have to deal with all that east side too much unless I go over there for one of the "super" stores. They are building a lot more here on the west side because of the college and I can get pretty much anything over here. I don't go to the mall much because I am too cheap lol. Nice to meet all of you!!!!!!!!!! Amy

hello hoosiers
I joined here just moments ago. I live in Southern Indiana close to Cincinnati Ohio and Northern Kentucky. I'm right on the Ohio river with all the casinos.
I don't know that I would have anything inviting to say about the state. lol I have certainly lived in prettier places. i was born and raised here but I was in th Military for 14 years and saw a few better places. Anyway, glad to be here.
