    I'm north of Ann Arbor. We will hopefully be moving to Grand Rapids by the end of the year!

    We live in North Florida, but DH grew up outside Mt Pleasent (sp) and he talked me into moving to Grand Rapids (out skirts) back in 98. I didn't do too bad for a life long Floridian, lasted 2 years

    No, but I visited a friend's family in Traverse City last summer and LOVED it up there! Her house overlooked the water, we went to the dunes, it was beautiful!

    A born and raised Grand Rapids native here. I love it. I'm really going to miss it when we move to Alabama soon. We're moving because BF and I really need a change and why not -- maybe jobs/economy will be better there. He has family in Alabama -- plus he lived there 10 years ago and really, really like it. I have a few friends (mostly BF's family so it's not like I'll never see them again -- will probably see them more than I really want to--LOL), but I have no family in the area so I said, what the heck. I am really looking forward to the different climate (warm weather, no snow) and the different culture.

    I don't live in Michigan but the inlaws do. They are from Saginaw. We spend time in Saginaw, Houghton Lake, and skiing at Boyne Mountain (this weekend actually)
