2004 Soldier Show
The 2004 U.S. Army Soldier Show will perform at 7 p.m., Aug. 7, and 2 p.m., Aug. 8,
in Soldier Hall, Bldg. 2 on Pershing Rd. No tickets will be issued; seating is available on a
first-come, first-served basis. “The Heart of a Soldier” tour is on the road for its 110-performance,
six-month world tour – to 21 states, Germany, Italy, Washington, D.C., and
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Country, rock, pop, gospel, rhythm and blues, Latin and “80s’ hairband
rock” are intertwined throughout the show, including the works of Prince, ABBA
and Outkast. The show won’t exceed 90 minutes. The cast includes active duty, National
Guard and Reserve Component Soldiers who vary in rank from private first class to first
lieutenant. Corporate partners for the 2004 U.S. Army Soldier Show are lead sponsor and
partner, the Army National Guard, and corporate sponsor, AT&T.
