Default Rank? What rank is your military member?

I was just wondering since we have so many military members here

what rank you are at or working towards.   E-7 when we got out

Do you do any correspondance studies? (do they still have that?)  We did them for 9 years

What is your MOS/job  DH was 54B he was also the Company & Battallion NBCNOC in Hawaii and Alabama

As you all know we are No longer Actice duty but because of DH security clearence he can deploy at any given moment.

We were in for 10 years.  I pushed him do do the correspondance studies even pushed him to get a degree at Hawaii Pacific University.  DH was an E-7 when he got out. had just gone to ANOC and got DA Selected.  he  got out 2 months later! bummer, I wish we had stayed sometimes, other times I'm glad he's out.  How about you?

We are E4 promotable.....we've already passed the board but we're waiting for the points to drop to actually get our E5 rank...

We've done the PLDC thing & we are doing the correspondence courses & he's in college & as soon as he finishes a couple of more classes, we're headed to the "O" side....

We're 14T (PATRIOT Missile Launcher) so it's not likely that we'll EVER get out of Fort Bliss - this is the Air Defense Artillery capital of the world, ya know! When we go green to gold, he's thinking of switching MOS's to enable the opportunity to see more of the world than this little piece of paradise... again!!

Even if we stay here, enlisted, and nothing further ever, I can't imagine going back to being a civilian.....
For better or worse, I'm an ARMY wife through & through!

That'd be so great!! to go to the O side! DH told me after we had been in for a few years that he was offered a spot at West Point during Basic. But he turned it down so we could get married!

Then he turned aroung and refused OCS during PLDC! I tried to convince him to go Warent but at the time all you could get was WO4 is it still the same?

    I so miss the Army

He has done some correspondence courses and he wants to go to college but we haven't made any plans for that yet.

My dh is an E-6. He got his promotion while over in Iraq. He will have to do the whole BNOC thing when he comes home. Thank goodness where he will do his school, it is not that far from home. I can see him if I have to because it is only about 20 miles up north of us. I seriously think that dh is considering not re-enlisting when his time is up next Oct. I don't know if I can take another deployment. After all, he is National Guard in the 728th MSB which never had gone anywhere since the Korean War. Just in case some of you don't know, he drives truck so his MOS is 88MIC

Dh is 11B, Mech Inf, out of Ft Hood. He's been in 12 yrs and is an E6 lifer. We have been married 10 years and he has been to Korea twice, Bosnia, Macedonia, Kosovo, and Iraq with orders to head back out to Iraq at the end of next year. My dad was SF of 26 years and I also have a brother with the 101st Airborne Div and as sister with the Ky Nat'l Guard. In spite of the deployments and danders of todays army, I love every bit of it. My kids may not see their dad every day, but I feel like he teaches them more than alot of Dads who are home every night. He doesn't take us for granted because he knows that he could leave at anytime.

Mine was an E-8 when he retired. I have no clue what the MOS was because they changed them.
