Here is a link to the Ft. Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield installation page and there are many useful links here for National Guard and Reserve Family info.
http://www.stewart.army.mil/display.asp?channel=info
Click on Deployment and Family Support at top of page. When that page comes up, scroll down to Special Information for Reserve & National Guard.
If Ft. Irwin will be Arthur's official base of deployment, then I'm sure they have an Installation page as well.
Don't know if this will be of any help to your daughter, but I just wanted to give you this site address just in case.

Oh, no problem at all.
I'm not sure how the Guard works, but for the Army each unit has a rear detachment of military members and a specified family readiness coordinator so family members have a point of contact locally. Most units will include any family member on an email update list sent during the deployment. You must contact your family members unit to join their email "chain of concern."
I'm also adding Arthur to our Troop Angel tree at church. Please, if you can, send his unit address so I and several friends can send care packages to him. I know how much those packages meant to Shane.
