Support the Soliders....not the War - Starbucks
"Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because
they wanted to let them know how much they liked their
coffees and to request that they send some of it to
the troops there.
Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for
their support in their business, but that Starbucks
does not support the war, nor anyone in it , and that
they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend Starbucks, we should not support
them by buying any of their products. As a war vetwriting to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this
out in the open. I know this war might not be very
popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we
don't support the boys on the ground fighting
street-to-street and house-to-house for what they and
I believe is right.
If you feel the same as I do then pass this
along, or you can discard it and no one will never
know. Thanks very much for your support of me, and I
know you'll all be there again when I deploy once
more.
Semper Fidelis."

This is just disgusting to me. There isn't a single person who doesn't wish the War would end today I'm sure. But to so blatantly cut down the soliders who are stuck over there, away from friends and families, disgusts me. I will not ever walk through the doorway of a Starbucks again.

In fact, as soon as I can figure out who to write, I'm writing Starbucks to tell them EXACTLY what I think of their policy. I work at a very large hospital and we are a patriotic bunch. We raise money for the troops often. We ALSO had a Starbucks recently open inside our doors. Hmmm....

I repeat....calm down its just an Urban Legand. Somebody is/was pissed off at Starbucks and made this crap up like half the other stuff out there to try and get attention and turn others.
I've been hearing this one for awhile now. I get it about once a month in my email inbox.
Sorry some one sent it to you and got you worked up this morning Chea
