It won't let me add the photobucket pictures for some reason. . . .so here's the link to my album. the first 5 pictures are of graduation and relaxing afterward. I'll try to add more pictures over the next few days, but dial up internet is soooo slow for things like this.

Congratulations! Doug is a very good looking Marine

My mechanic's son is also a Marine, he'll be coming home from Iraq then going to Camp LeJeune NC.

I was penpal friends w/this guy Ronnie whom I never met (in person yet!) We met on the C.B. (citizen's band radio) while he was valet parking cars close-by my house & told me he's going into the Marines & that was his last day of work so he gave me his phone number & I called him this was in 1983 while I was still in High School. Our birthdays were a few days apart in December. He liked watching General Hospital so I kept him up to date while he was away. In Parris Island, SC then to Camp Le Jeune, NC.

He says he's already got 3 strikes against him because the drill instructer's don't like guys from NY, guys w/tattoo's, & guys in the Reserves. (He's from Elmont, NY)

Denise enjoy your quality time @ home w/Doug

I know you are so proud of him and so am I. I often thought of all the people serving in all of the armed forces but, when a son or daughter joins it seems to go much deeper. What they are willing to do for this Country that involves everyone. Enjoy every minute of the time he is home. On a lighter note my son, Loren will be coming home tonight (for good?) after serving 4 years.
