    Talking Update on ds

    He finally made it to Savannah.
    I should get that call tonight saying that he has arrived at Parris Island to start his training. What a relief that he finally arrived. Oh and by the way, I will never fly US Air when I have to travel.

    Well, I got that official call last night from him saying that he has arrived at Parris Island. I am so relieved that he has finally arrived. Now I can start the official countdown.

    I'm glad that he arrived safe and sound and that he can now start this exciting new stage of his life. I will be sure to add US Air to my list of airlines to avoid also.

    YEAH! I am glad he has arrived and the countdown has begun.

    I agree with avoiding US Airways! When we went to see DS#1 in San Diego we were suppose to land in CA at 10:05. After getting bumped from one flight to another and then our lay over flight changed from one state to another, I didn't think we were ever going to get there. We should have been checked in our hotel by 11:30 if things would have went as planned. With all the changes in our flight, we checked in at 4:00 am!! The flight home was better, but the flight there was h@%&!

    So, when is your son's graduation date??

    Did you print out the matrix? Each day I would cross off another day, so I could visually see how closer it was getting. Plus, I could see what he was doing each day.
