Back from Parris Island
Well, we are back from graduation, and I just wanted to post a picture of my new Marine. We are so happy to have him home. It feels so nice to have him here. Just like he never left, but unfortunately, he will be off again in 9 days.
The picture I attached is one of my son and my dh in his uniform on graduation day.

Congrats to your son!
Did he graduate this past Friday? My son said his first class graduated Friday at Parris Island. They had my son (he's stationed in Beaufort) teaching part of the rifle range to the recruits.

Nice picture.. I remember the day I went to my Dh's graduation in
Parris Island in 1988...It was really neat to watch.. and Dh looked so handsome in his uniform..I also remember it being Black Flag at 9:00am and thought I was gonna die of heat stroke(it was already 90 degrees..) I'm very proud of your son honoring our country..Wife to Keith

did ds say anything about the sand fleas during basic training? i hear they are pretty bad there.
