Miserly Monday 9/21

Well, this is a bit late in the evening but how has your Monday been? I had to clean out my pantry this morning because hubby had a coniption(sp?) when he made a bowl of cereal and found little ants in it. So now I'm cleaning out kitchen cabinets and drawers again to make sure there aren't anymore. I guess that is another sign of fall. I went to the bank earlier to deposit money left from my check and now I'm waiting for hubby to make payments online to cc's so I can change my siggy.
Not much else going on, we are having leftover spaghetti for dinner, hubby is working tonight and I'm going to clean whatever I have a notion to.

Blech...sorry to hear that!

I am at home b/c I am trying to NOT go out b/c I'm afraid I'll end up spending $$. May not be a lot but right now pennies are totally being pinched. I had time today to calculate my budget and split up my next paycheque. Its not pretty...Debt should be gone by end of December...not including anything fun and Christmas. I'm sure that will change before it arrives but that thought just scared me!

So far tonight - I've purged some clothes and am tackling an 'area' on my desk lol.

I got so much done today!! I had to really, I'm not going to be home the rest of the week...field trip tomorrow, grocery shopping on Wed, getting new IDs on Thurs. Fall down dead on Friday!

What I did:
~stripped bed/washed/hung out/remade
~washed/hung out/folded/put away 3 loads of laundry
~vacuumed downstairs
~swept & mopped kitchen
~swept & mopped mudroom
~cleaned out two refrigerators worth of leftovers
~scrubbed inside & outside of both fridges
~washed dishes (twice! because of all the dishes from cleaning out leftovers)
~made banana nut muffins
~knitted for a bit
~clipped coupons
~worked on monthly menu/grocery list
~made dinner
~walked the dogs w/ dh

Now I'm going to plop myself in front of the tv & knit.

It was a miserly Monday for me today. I worked 11 hours, visited briefly with parents and came home to do laundry that never seems to end. It was a long challenging day at work. Here's hoping that tomorrow will be better.
