    Default Miserly Monday 9/6/10

    Thankfully also a holiday Monday - love three day weekends!!

    I'm going to continue declutter the LR - made a lot of progress on Sunday.

    Taking time to exercise and relax at the pool too.

    Making White chicken chili for us, a friend at school and my physical therapist (promised him some a year ago!!)

    Am planning a slow and steady day. Need to wash my car too, better get that on my list!!

    I love three day weekends takes the pressure off of getting everything done in three days.
    Today i will be doing laundry, dishes, and some cooking for the week ahead. Will also find time to sit down with my book.

    Well...
    We just got a call from oldest dd. She got sick at a friend's house this morning, so dh is on his way to go pick her up. I'm hoping it's overtired, and not actually sick. Ish.

    This morning I need to head to town and get some groceries. DH is leaving for a week and a half, and I most definitely will NOT be taking my kids grocery shopping while he's gone! lol

    After that my day will be spent finishing up my never ending laundry pile, meal planning, and cleaning my youngest dd's bedroom.

    last day off before first day of kid in school ( wed ) so i am organizing and decluttering some today .
    may even bring up some fall decor and swap out the summer - i usually wait till later in the month but just feel an urge to do it now lol

    I am staying home today, no spending for me for a long while! I am going to be taking advantage of E-bays last 2 days of free listings. I hope to get a bit of sewing done today as well. It's a good day to stay home and relax.

    Today is a lazy Labor Day here.

    Diva is out playing and I am spending the day relaxing and crocheting. Old Man is working.

    In a bit I have to do some laundry (it's always occupied early hours on 'days off') and get ready for the upcoming week.
    I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

    Relaxing today. Weather is drab and I'm gloomy. Been sipping on coffee all afternoon, watching Food Network's "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" marathon on my new couches

    I swear...its definitely the simple things in life I enjoy.

    It is so windy here, but sunny and nice. The wind knocked over two of my palm trees out by the pool, and they were in urns!We have been busy picking up around here. Getting ready for a BBQ picnic! Hope you have a safe Labor Day!!

    Today I primed, painted, and painted some more. Trying my best to get this house ready for sale, but there are lots of projects and just one little woman to work on them, so ... yeah. Man, it was nice not going to work, though!
