    Default Miserly Monday 9/13/10

Here's greeting you as another work week greets us on a Monday morning - yes it's already Monday on the East coast!!

Today will be full of preschoolers!!...and we have a full week of fun planned!!

I desperately need to go to the post office to get some packages in the mail - have neglected to do that for at least a week-ugh!!

After school I have physical therapy and tehn want to stop at the grocery store for a few items. My plan also includes hitting the pool for some treading water time.

Sounds like a normal day for me - hope that yours is a great one!!

DS has a JV football game against their big rival. He also plays on his high school varsity team and he gets to play in two football games a week - JV on Monday night and Varsity on Friday night. I LOVE it!!! He's the only freshman starting on the O-line and watching him makes his momma's chest swell with pride.

While the kids are at school and DH is at work, I'm going to spend the day booking our Christmas trip to Disney. I swear, September to December are the longest months for me. I get so excited this time of year about going that it just makes time D...R...A...G...

I might work on some laundry, but don't count on it. ;o)

My daughter and I are going shoe shopping tomorrow for the little one and see if they have any good stuff for us. Loving her discount, on top of a BOGO sale. She keeps me up with shoes now since she's been working for Stride Rite. heh.

And I'm going to do some cleaning.

Another night I should be sleeping. Eh...

Since I'm up, I am trying to be silently productive until either I pass out or the sun comes up and I can get back to life as usual around here.

    My typical Monday

5:30 - see Old Man off to work (make coffee)
5:35 - drink coffee and try to get motivated
6:00 - jump in the shower and try to look human
6:45 - finish packing Diva's backpack for school
7:00 - attempt to wake the Diva
7:10 - wake up the Diva
7:15 - breakfast, hair, face, teeth
7:50 - head out the door and drive Diva to school
8:35 - return home, drink more coffee and start the cleaning, yawn and complain about having to do laundry
1:45 - head out to get Diva from school
2:35 - return home and start the homework parade
    6:00 - dinner for Diva and I
7:30 - remind Diva that our house came complete with a shower
8:30 - swoop in and tuck her in for the night

*** tbd - serve dinner to the Old Man whenever he gets home from work
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Are days are mostly PACKED through mid-Oct. Today is one of the heavier ones.

Up at, as the commercial says "o-dark-thirty" through a hasty morning routine and out the door, through the half hour drive to work, arriving with my first cup of energy in the form of caffine at 5:30. Get everything up and then run the backups, entries, new additions and so forth from 630ish to 830ish. (This means push a few buttons every few minutes and monitor the system which means I get to pop in and out visiting the village as it long as everything does what its suppose to.) From 830 to 230 I'll have to actually focus on what I'm doing at work. Then I get to leave work and the juggling begins. From 230 to 6 I need to:
    ~ pick up DS#1 at 3
~ feed him and answer any homework questions
~ fit in at least 30 minutes of weights
~ drop DS#1 off at his soccer game at 415
~ pick up DS#2 from tennis practice at 430
~ dinner and homework with him
~ get him out the door for 5:30 to soccer practice
~ make sure he has a ride home
~ call my parents and make sure they remeber they are DS#1's ride home from his game
~ breath, freshen up, and get to the bowling alley for 6 and the first night of our league where I will get to relax and play catch up with everyone

    ~ get home about 930ish
~ make sure the boys are settled in and touch base with them
~ lunches, laundry, dishes, and a pick up as I go
    ~ then bed and sleep

A full day that'll keep me on my toes

Ugh, what a short night. I could NOT go to sleep, much like you, Lady V! And I am NOT looking forward to waking up ds this morning. He was not tired last night and just couldn't settle down. Great.

Well, I am drinking some coffee now as I have packed all 3 lunches, and have woke up 2 out of the 3 kids this morning.
I am showered and makeup'd and ready to roll! lol

Today is the usual work for me and school for the kids. When I get home this afternoon I need to do a load of laundry, help with homework, and then pick up dd from cross country practice.

Hoping to make this day a great one!

Pretty normal day for me today. Work, will get home around 5:00. Have to take care of the dogs, make supper, clean the kitchen, then pack up some ebay stuff that sold. I also have to go through my dad's bills and get them paid tonight.

It's been a BEYOND-hectic week, and today, I am sitting around on my big fat middle-aged bootie and drinking Chai. Maybe I'll go out onto the deck and do the same out there.

    (I'm allowed--it's my birthday).

    Still awake... still kicking around!

Watching the clouds roll in and waiting for the rain to start. Must... stay... awake...

Add to the list - check the bank accounts
    - I opened a new checking account at the local bank online over the weekend, need to see if they sent the account number yet
    - Check on the 'spending account' because I ordered something online, they sent usps tracking, but according to usps, it doesn't exist ... checked up on company I ordered from and they have bad reviews, people order something, may or may not get and get a monthly charge show up on their bill.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!
