Wow, where did the weekend go?

Today I am set to be super productive! It is my day off, so I have to pack a lot in.

After I get the kids off to school, I am going to focus on laundry. I have been caught up on washing it, just not putting it away. Grrr

I need to finish staining about 4 rungs on our front porch, so I will tackle that if it doesn't rain as predicted today.

I need to clean out our pickup as well as my explorer so that I am driving in clean vehicles this week. Always makes a difference in my attitude about going to work, I think!

I will also be deep cleaning my bedroom this afternoon. Time to take back my room from the kids and all of THEIR clutter! lol

That's certainly enough for the first day of Fall Break.

Well my favorite Monday activity has been canceled. DS's JV football team was suppose to have their final game of the season tonight. Unfortunately, the other team had a conflict and it has been canceled. But hey, since DS plays on both JV and Varsity, he still has four Friday night varsity games left.

I dedicate each week leading up to our vacation to accomplishing a certain task in preparation for our trip. This week is dedicated to going through our "Disney Boxes" and seeing what items need to be replaced. We keep everything we need for Disney in storage in Rubbermaid boxes like our Mickey ears, t-shirts, Shamwow towels, disposable ponchos, over the door shoe holders (for organizing in the room since counter space is a premium), lanyards, trading pins, first aid kit, detergents, etc...I have updated the packing list and am getting the list together of what needs to be replenished.

I made a huge pot of chili and rice last night for dinner with enough left over for my lunch and our dinner tonight.

My favorite plant, Seymore, needs to be moved from in front of the window to on top of the entertainment center. But, he weighs over 75 pounds so I have to wait for DS, DD and/or DH to help me relocate him.

Took a nice 2 hour nap this morning and feel rested and ready!

I went grocery shopping with my list for the week then remembered I needed to buy for the next week because of no ride to the grocery store.

Was able to stay on budget. Just need to get bananas for the following week.

Came home and made a big batch of chicken soup. Still cooking in the crockpot.

Now I need to fill out some paperwork so I can get discounted fare on the subway.
