Miserly Monday, 12/6/10

Happy Monday!!! But only after !!!!!!

I got so much stuff done yesterday, it was wonderful! Rarely do I stay on task and finish 2 of my must-do things around the house, but I did them ALL! Now my home is clean, laundry is caught up, and I am loving it! Even the woodstove knew I meant business this morning and fired right up! So now I get to enjoy the Christmas tree while I look out the front window and watch the sun start to peek over the tops of the mountains. Just lovely!!

Today is work for me. My lunch hour will consist of running some games back to Shopko that we don't need and doing a little bit more Christmas shopping. I finally sat down to see what I had already purchased and realized I have a lot more to go! Best get on that!

After school oldest dd has crochet and knitting club with her 4H group, and then youngest dd has bball practice at 6:30. So it will be filled with a lot of running, as usual. Not sure about supper, nothing sounded good. Hopefully it will come to me at work!

Good morning and yes Vanessa, I'm , well 2 cups is a lot for me. Glad you got everything done yesterday. So far I have had my coffee,checked my emails, and got online to file my unemployment claim for last week. Yesterday I thought I was buying caulking but nooooo, someone had mixed them up and I brought home glue so I have to drive back into town and exchange that. I have dishes to put away. I need to start my grocery list, and gather more GW donations. I should have plenty of time for some reading. Dinner will be LO lasagna. DH works tonight so I'll spend some time cleaning the bedroom. Hope you all have a warm wonderful day.

Listening to you all makes me ashamed of my lack of accomplishments! LOL
Anyway, today is a work day but I hope to finish promptly in order to have the evening free. I would really love to get the Christmas tree put up today, the laundry folded and put away and the sweeper run. That would leave me with tomorrow night ( DH will be working late) to wrap some gifts.

Mamaw - don't fret...I'm still doing the straggling chores from the weekend that were neglected. I figured ME time was in order before my body told me so, KWIM?

Today I've already taken dad to the doctors....promised him we'd go waddle @ Costco later. He's going to make dinner I also need to fold laundry that finished drying last night and then purge some more for next week! As usual, everything else is gravy

Happy Monday! Today is actually a walk in the park compared to my crazy weekend. LOL. I worked 18 hours on Friday, 8 hours on Saturday and 8 hours last night. Saturday I had to repair a flat tire before going to work. We finally got our tree up and decorated yesterday morning. Today I'm working at the office and then I'm off to pick up the kids from the babysitter's. I started some pork chops in the crock pot this morning and DH is working overtime tonight. So....I'm flying solo this evening. After dinner, I'll get DD to help with some laundry and other chores that were neglected this weekend. Then it's bath night for the twins and **hopefully** it'll be smooth sailing until bedtime.

Another cold and sunny day! I went to the gym this morning and then made a few stops-store, post office, bank, cleaners. Came home and have been making Christmas cookies. We have a cookie exchange at church on Wednesday. Have a great afternoon!

Good evening, all!

It's been a good day......very productive at work, finsihed my homework and now I'm just relaxing before making another loaf of bread. We baked and polished one loaf of bread off yesterday!

I haven't spent any money today, so it HAS been a Miserly Monday!

My feet are like icicles right now....so I guess I need to go find my comfy slippers!
