Miserly Monday, 3/28/11

Morning, all!

I truly thought I was going to be sick this morning, as i didn't feel great around 3:30 this morning. Couldn't put my finger on it, just had that yucky feeling with alternating cold sweats. Hmmm, just weird. I don't feel amazing, but I'm upright, and I'm thankful for that!

Today is back to work after 3 wonderfully days off. I'm guessing we're still not too busy, so I'm hoping there will be enough work to keep me occupied. That's truly the worst part!

The only activity tonight is picking up dd from basketball at 5:30. Looking forward to hanging out at home again tonight! I sure could get used to that! I've had 2 bites on the Explorer over the weekend, and they have both requested more pictures. Need to find the cord that connects the camera to the computer to get those downloaded.

So far we are enjoying a stay at home, no spend, homeschooling day. I need to have tons more of these since we are getting ready to move and the grand total was a lot higher than I would like it to be. Sigh. Oh well, such is life. Dinner is defrosting and this afternoon I will be planning tons of meals using what we have at home to see how long I can go without shopping. Wish me luck!

today i was slack
well i started out slack

got my son on the bus at 7:20 am...crawled back to bed with my youngest and the broken collar bone...slept till my phone rang ( i missed the set alarm) at 10:30...lazed around the house till 11:30 then started tackling the unforgiving kitchen and mounds of dishes, cleaned the living room. picked up bathroom and kids room and my room..didnt make ANY beds..bummer
started a roast in the cp
cleaned and organized the back yard it was a disaster...discarded old or broken things to be picked up at the community clean up..met someone from cl who bought a stroller from me starte the biscuits rising for dinner

after dinner i might go see my parents..the kids want to see granny n papa

o and im a dork but i like the secret life of an american teenager (im almost 30 why i dont know i think its cause i didnt want 90210 enough) and that comes back since OCTOBER..so yay..tivo it

tomorrow more of the same..just hopefully i can start earlier and fix some coffee to help

Hello!!!

It's been a busy Monday that's for sure!!

Today L (our 3 yr old) started wearing underwear (still have yet to find the plastic pants to wear over them) & so far no accidents... but have been really on the ball to make sure he goes to the bathroom VERY VERY frequently! LOL

I've been grocery shopping & stuck (MOSTLY) to my list... w/the few exceptions of things I didn't put on the list but meant to. I actually got out of there spending LESS than $100!! That doesn't happen very often! LOL ... switched the house insurance to a different carrier (who also does our rent house & w/all the discounts, it is SOOOO much cheaper

for us)! Ate leftover spaghetti from last night for lunch. L had a pb&j & milk. Got gas($48

), cleaned up my kitchen (which looked like a horror story when I woke up this morning... funny I don't remember it looking like that last night

)

finished my weekly planner menu for this week (still have next week's to do) but making sure that I use up all our leftovers!!! Made hard boiled eggs... cleaned out the "junk" from the fridge...finished 3 loads of laundry, reevaluated the budget (made sure we were staying on target)... Made chili tonight (tomorrow will be chili dogs!) Still have to go get the 14 yr old when track meet is done, get the 3 yr old ready for bed, clean up the kitchen AGAIN~

& do 2 more loads of laundry & clean off my desk (or at least the printer)... also found time to play on FB & FV!!!

Now I'm exhausted...
