    Default Miserly Monday, 9/26/11

It's Monday. Meh. I apparently have the beginning of the week blues. My weekend went by WAY too fast. But on a good note, dh and I threw out an entire pickup load of junk from our basement on Saturday. I can't believe what a packrat I've become!

Lunches are packed, clothes are laid out for the kids, and backpacks are ready to go. Watching the sun peek over the mountains while I wait for the kids to wake up. And chugging coffee doesn't hurt...

I need to go to Goodwill today and drop off 4 big bags of clothes I cleaned from the kids' closets yesterday. I still have about 7 bags downstairs of miscellaneous goodies. What an awesome feeling to get rid of that stuff!

DD has vball practice tonight, but other than that, no activities. How wonderful!

Hope everybody has a great start to their week!
    -Vanessa

DH and DD are off to work and school respectively. DS and I are headed to his cardiologist appointment soon. After that we will stop at Home Depot to pick up a couple replacement light fixtures. We've been needing them for a while, but I've been dreading spending the money. The metal part of a bulb melted into the connector on one of them. It must be done!

Not really sure what my 'goals' are for today -I'm feeling very low key almost bordering on lazy and super, super tired despite the restful weekend I had.

I will need to bake that cake I planned on doing yesterday, making another tub of salad for the week and some laundry folding/putting away.
