Monday Morning Check In

And what a crisp fall morning it is here where I live! Very cool indeed. I hope everyone is having a nice Monday morning. You gots lots on your plate for the day? Gonna be a busy one for me for sure.

I cooked chicken breasts that were almost too far gone to keep (a little freezer burned on the skin) in the crockpot over night. I need to shred those and cut up some peppers and onions and make green chili stew for dinner. That's first on my agenda. Afterwards it's:

~workout
~shower and do hair/makeup
~gather up clothes of mine and Gripey's that I'm hauling to the consignment shop (things that are too big now and too nice to donate)
~find a receipt to return some jeans to Sam's that I decided are too expensive when I can find some almost just like them for $2 at the thrift store instead (I also need to return a battery that we replaced for my car and get the core charge refunded which is $7)
~run by the store while I'm out and pick up some paper goods to take to take to a family in town who lost a loved one
~2 loads of laundry
~run into the "city" near us and take care of some errands (like registering the boat, etc...)
~home to eat dinner cooked

and watch tv

Today I'm going to be lazy. haha. I've already took a shower and got dressed.

All I need to do is sweep and mop my kitchen. Around 1pm a friend of mine is going to call me so I can pick up some toys she's donating to a daycare my other friend works at.

After that its just me and my boys all day. Once it warms we will go outside. I love the days when it's just me and the boys and the whoooooooooole day to mess around.

I'm cold, I'm tired, & I'm pms-ing. It's a good thing everyone has left the house for the day because I'm a total grump today

LOL! I don't plan on leaving the house until MUCH later...and hopefully in a MUCH better mood. I still need to shower. The kitchen is cleaned up & the laundry folded, thanks to dh

I do need to wash a few more loads though. I think I will deep clean my bedroom. Strip the bed of everything. Dust everything, de-clutter everything. It really needs it

It's gonna be a paperwork day here. I've got hospital bills to review and get fixed. Like the one for 4 days of hosptial visits by the doctor when I was only in 2 days!? Go figure how that happened? An ambulance ride I never took. Dh drove me! Nitro given during said ambulance ride! What a mess!
Then I've got some tax stuff to fill out for accountant who's working on our offer and comprimze with IRS.
I figure about 4pm I'll be ready for my one glass of wine aday. Gonna be a BIG Glass.

Have cleaned the entire downstairs so far today.
Went to the post office to get mail
Starting classes tonight so I'm excited about that.
Have to take a shower and make dinner later.

Fed the zoo
Showered

I took my van to Ford this morning (the engine light has been coming on and off every now and then and I want it checked before my warranty expires)

Got a courtsy ride home from ford, and got a tour of LaPorte (another passenger needed a ride also and she had to get to work, so we took her first) and found out where a wave pool is.

Checking email

things to do: litter box, laundry, clean my sons bathroom, geography homework, wait for ford to call with results, sweep hall & kitchen, water outside plants. That's all I have planned, not much at least it's something

I got up at 5:30 this morning, early for me. Got DD off to school. Hubby is on vac. this week, so we are working on the house. I went to the wall paper store and bought 4 rolls for the pantry. Me, who hates wallpaper, so that I could get by without having to paint for a long time. And I got it for $6.00 a double roll. Not bad and not costing more than a gallon of paint.
Now, I am finally eating a late breakfast or early lunch. Then I am off to help hubby outside, then down to neighbor's house to help dig up Canna's from her flower bed. Then making dinner and relaxing for the evening.

I am not doing a lot of anything today. I worked last night so I have been awake since 4:00 PM yesterday afternoon so I am too tired to do much. I plan on a short nap later this afternoon so that I can sleep tonight.

I just plan on fixing supper tonight, french dip sandwiches with french fries. I am going to get my onions cut this morning and bagged up so I don't have to do anything but cook my meat, I am using some wafer thin steaks that I got on sale a few weeks ago instead of roast beef, I plan on cooking it nice and slow and adding lots of cracked pepper to them. Other than that, I am being a lazy bones and just watching television, visiting the Village and reading my book.

I have never posted anything on this thread before so I thought today would be a good day for it...

So far I've done 2 loads of laundry and still have 3 more loads to do (my dad dropped his laundry off yesterday after I got home from work)

Got the chicken in the oven.

Made out bills and mailed them.

Washed the dishes.

Cleaned the bathroom.

Vacuumed the living room and dining room.

Swept the kitchen floor.

Seperated the clothes into piles for my boys to put away when they get home from school.

I still need to do the following:

peel potatoes
make dessert
makeout grocery list and match coupons to sale items.
get a deposit ready for bank
finish the rest of dirty laundry

after all this is done I think I'll start crocheting the blanket that I'm almost done with for my youngest son and take a nap before my kids get home from school...

Got up late about 8:30.
Having coffee, need to get the laundry washing at least
a quick wipe up and straightening
Off to work....11:00-8:00 (long day

)
put chicken in crockpot this morning
watch t.v. and go to bed

I really don't want to work today, it's so nice outside and I don't think were going to be having too many more. (wish I could call in sick, haven't called in in 5 years).

~6 loads of laundry, including sheets
~cleaned bathroom
~got some beans going in the crock
~ tore up all my bread heels for stuffing(Isave my bread scraps in freezer)
~general cleanup
~bills & saving plan for next month
~ cleaned kitchen some
going to do
~dinner in a little while
~clean up in backyard, sweep

Wow....I actually got everything accomplished that I wanted too..One thing I didn't get to do was take a nap..LOL

It's 5pm here and I'm tired. Dh getting off late tonight, so we're waiting on eating dinner till 6. This is what I did today.
~Got milk at the grocery store
~Made dinner for tonight, marinaded chicken for tomorrow, and made brownies.
~Did my annual dr's appt.
~Made appt for ds to get TB test tomorrow, all in anticipation of him getting into our local preschool.
~Mopped the kitchen, 2nd bathroom, and utility room, wiped down the counters, and did laundry.
~Tweaking some photos in PS. Working on some tutorials.

It's been a busier day than I would have liked. That's okay though, the rest of the week will be nice and lazy.

Hubby's birthday today. We both took of from work.We woke up at 4 AM to go on a 1/2 day sea fishing trip.
I got mildly seasick, we caught 1 legal size fish. It was interesting to say the least!
I finally ordered candlemaking supplies today too!!!!
Very excited about that!!

I hope everyone had a productive Monday!
