    Default Monday Morning Check In

How's everybody after the holiday? Me? I'm stuffed!

I've got lots to do today and my poodle is acting really sick. I think she's hurt her left knee....

    For me today it's:

Run through, pick and put up
    Laundry
    Workout
    Shower/hair/makeup
May have to take poodle to the vet
    Buy a few groceries
    Highlight a friend's hair this p.m.
    Cook something for dinner
More Laundry....I almost never have this much to do.

Hope everyone has a great Monday

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

*We're debt freeeeeeeee! (including the house)*

Take comforters to laundrymat. I hate washing them in my machine.
    Grocery shopping

    Straighting up the house

    Finish painting the kitchen

go and buy some new ornaments (the 1 1/2 year old thinks you band them together. Need to invest in some shatter proof ornaments)

Get the car detailed and tires switched before the snow comes

    Pay water and electric

LOTS of homework to do, since I slacked alittle this past holiday

Feeling under the weather and sad this morning. Oldest DD, SIL and the three boys left for home after church and supper last night. Woke up this morning with a headache, sore throat and runny nose...Arrrg! It started raining on the way to take dd to school this morning, so I had to put on my rain suite when I got back home to feed the goats, dogs and cats. Can't complain about the rain though cause we really need it.

The rest of the day looks like this:

    Dust
    Vacuum
    Mop Floors
    Laundry
    Clean bathrooms
Make two large pot pies from leftover turkey. One for supper tonight w/salad and the other one for the freezer for another busy day supper.
    Bake two more pecan pies
    Pick up dd from school
    Eat supper
Address Christmas cards and get two packages ready to mail out tomarrow.
Work on homemade Christmas cards and gift bags for Sunday School class
    Bath
    Maybe a little T.V.
    Bed

Looks like I have an unusually busy Monday too!

I have Mondays off, so I'm going add in my 2 cents.

    Today I'm going to:
    Make the bed
Get the kitchen cleaned, unload the dishwasher and reload
decorate the tree, and clean the remainder of our Christmas items out of the living room floor
    Sweep the back porch
    work or Dsis' Christmas gifts
    Wrap all other Christmas gifts
    Hem a skirt
    maybe some laundry
Clean out the back bedroom (which is now storage)

Whew, that looks like a lot when I write it down, I guess I'd better get started!

    Hello everyone,
Already accomplished, laundry, hanging to dry, made some telephone calls, computer time, planned dinner (leftover ham from yesterday)
On my way to do errands. Off to target to buy 2 more sets of lights, we ran short decorating the outside. Then to the grocery store, I need to buy eggs and butter. My plan for this afternoon, is to cut out a pattern for a xmas gift I plan to sew, and make chocolate chip cookies to mail to my dsil. Maybe later tonight start to address xmas cards, would like to get them out by the end of the week. Or I may be back here.

bye, hope everyone has a great day.

Woke up to a light dusting of snow, glad it wasn't much I need to get to work today. I'm feeling better after that cold I had last week, just don't really feel like doing much today.
    Need to:
    run the dishwasher
    wash a load of laundry
    straighten up after the weekend

    So far today I've:
    *colored my hair
*ran up to Walgreens to pick a couple RX's
*went to Walmart for a few things
    *did 2 loads of laundry
*washed down the outsides of my kitchen cabinets, top and outside of fridge, & clean the kitchen ceiling fan.

I still need to sweep & vacuum, but I'm taking a break first!

    Afternoon all...
The holiday for me was very good, but hectic as well. We ended up having company for the weekend-totally unprepared for that.
Today is running errands, and maybe doing some more Christmas shopping.
The rest of the week is doing cookies-have 2 extra birthday parties to do.
    Finish decorating the house...
Hope all who are feeling under the weather feel better soon.
    Have a great day!

    So far today I have:

*Went to my doctor's appointment (waste of my time, but that's another rant. I did get a flu shot and some bloodwork done that I needed while I was already there)
*Got a pedicure (I told my inlaws who were babysitting that my appointment ran late - but I really needed to be pampered today!)
*Have a load of laundry in the washer
    *Made a few phone calls
*Went to the grocery store for milk and bread, and got a few more things for our turkey dinner this weekend. Should have everything now, but since I didn't bring a list with me I'm sure I'll be missing something.
*Filled out paperwork so we can change over to DH's health insurance

Left on the agenda for today:
    *Update my blog
*Continue with our furniture move. Aiming to get the couches and most of the furniture for the living room in place. The office is still a mess, but I can shut the door to the office (LOL)
Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

Good evening. It was a mild 54 degrees here in NH today, then started working my butt off!!! Here's what I got done:

~I did my normal daily routines and
~washed all the bedding right down to the mattress pad
    ~remade beds
~finished filling out paperwork for Ryan's insurance & gathered all documents needed
    ~Opened all windows & doors
    ~Took curtains down
~Stripped beds & washed all bedding
~Vacuumed the mattresses, flip & vacuumed other side
~Took down shower curtain and washed
    ~Washed all throw rugs
    ~Cleaned all bedroom furniture
    ~Removed all obvious waste paper
~Threw away half eaten food, packets, etc from fridge/pantry/freezer
~Opened each drawer & removed anything no longer needed
~Emptied every trash can in the house
~Looked for trash on all surfaces
~Threw away anything that is broken or past it's best
~Removed any books from bookcase that will not be read again
~Went through linen cupboard & take out anything beyond repair
~Threw away old soaps, nearly empty cosmetic bottles, etc
~Threw away flowers or houseplants that couldn't be saved
~Removed cobwebs from house & dusted high places
~Washed the bathroom accessories (soap dish, toothbrush holders, etc)
~Vacuumed all lampshades & light fixtures, blinds, tops of doors etc
    ~Vacuumed under beds
    ~Cleaned the oven
    ~Poured boiling water down drains
    ~Scrubbed toilets
~Filled the kitchen trashcan with boiling water and cleaner & let soak
~Cleaned all bathtubs, showers & sinks
~Remove soap holder from washer/microwave plate & put in dishwasher
~Wipeed down baseboards & mouldings in kitchen
~Cleaned door frames, heaters, lightswitches & curtain rods
~Wiped down kitchen cabinet fronts & tiles
    ~Hang curtains back up
    ~Remade beds
    ~Put throw rugs back
~Refilled all storage jars with flour, sugar etc
    ~Refreshed any potpourri/oils, etc
~Changed the water in the vaporisers & humidifiers
    ~Trimmed or replaced all candles

Holy cow!!! I didn't realize how much I did today until I just typed it all up!!!!
I'm ready for bed now!! LOL
Actually, I'll be hitting there in about an hour. I'll lay in bed and watch Las Vegas that I taped a week and a half ago and then watch CSI:Miami.

I hope you all have a great evening!!
