I haven't had much time to post to the forum lately, let alone try to get a few lines into my blog....but here goes:

    Today I must:

finish last minute Christmas shopping for Dh coworkers....
go to lowes and look at more paint chips...almost ready to start painting kitchen, living room, laundry room, hallway, upstairs loft, and stairway leading to upstairs loft, so I have a lot of paint to pick out..
    get Christmas Cards out
    start dinner
    finish laundry
    walk, if I have time

Already got Dh and DD off to work and school.

Well I didn't sleep well last night and I couldn't take laying in bed anymore so I got up @ 4:30 a.m. We are once again (or should I say STILL) having major problems with my 16 yr old SD and I'm letting it drive me nuts.

As for today.... I'm exhausted already, so I'll just be doing the basics around here. Sweeping, vacuuming and a load of laundry or two and hopefully fit a nap in sometime

Morning everyone Hope everyone has a very productive but frugal day. It may not be frugal for me (well in the long run but short term spendy).

    For me it's:
    ~workout
    ~shower/hair/makeup/clothes
    ~make bed
~go to teeth cleaning appts. (me and Gripey)
    ~Christmas shop
    ~grocery shop
~come home and clean at least 2 bedrooms
    ~cook dinner
    ~watch tv
    ~go to bed

It's cold here and we're expecting freezing rain and sleet this evening.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

*We're debt freeeeeeeee! (including the house)*

I've recently decided to start writing again, and I already got my 30 minutes in today. I also need to finish cleaning the house from our Christmas party we had on Saturday, pay some bills/balance the checkbook, use up some CVS Extra Bucks that are expiring this week, and get some stuff that I'm exchanging at Old Navy ready to go.

Hope everyone has a good day!

This is a very busy week for me. Ugh. Today was no different.
Got oldest dd off to school, got the boys off to school. Then left dh to fend for himself while I took youngest dd to the dr's for immunizations. Three of them. Yuck. She was not happy. And we found out at her appt that her dr does not have copies of her immunizations at all. WTH? We have been here over 3 yrs and this is the first they've told me? What happened to the copies I gave them when we got here is what I would like to know!!

After the appt, I went to find out why oldest dd's referral from LAST week still has not gone through. The referral from the dr says ASAP. The child's jaw has been locked for going on two weeks now. Sat in there for a half an hour while the wonderful woman in there figured out what went wrong & fixed it right then & there. We left with an appt for this week.

Dropped dd off at school, gave her nurse's office a copy of her recent immunizations. Got a copy of the immunizations they have there so I can take them up to the dr's office later this week. Saved myself a trip to finding another copy for the dr's office

Now I'm home, about to have lunch. And I still need to:
~work on Mt Laundry before there's an avalanche
    ~more holiday baking
    ~make the bed
    ~clean up the kitchen
    ~run the dishwasher
    ~put dinner in the crockpot
    ~pick up the living room
~put clean tablecloth on the dining room table

All before I pick up the kids in three hours.

So far I got up and finished washing clothes the soaked all night in washer and hung them out. Stripped my bed and wash those sheets along with some others i saved from last change and hung them out too! (It's beautiful here sunny and warm). I fixed myself breakfast, hubby hasn't got home from working the 12-8 shift yet. He went right after work for jury duty. I packed him a breakfast and a lunch for today(he likes that, because he doesn't like eating out much). I folded the clothes I had hannging around the house that didn't get completely dry yesterday. I put away the dishes I washed last evening. So I still need to make my bed(after the sheets get dry); fix dinner; sweepa nd steam clean kitchen floor; run sweeper in the family room and living room; and whatever else I have time and energy for! Have a great day!

I posted my big to-do list for today over on my blog: http://www.villageblogger.com/entry....baby&e_id=2480

Basically, I have a ton of house stuff to do.... my sister's wedding was this weekend, and we basically were in and out for the last three days, just stopping in long enough to drop things on the kitchen floor, change, and head out again. So, I have a mess to deal with today. Then, I have to get moving with some Christmas stuff!

However, my fussy DS has stalled my progress this morning. As long as I'm holding him he's fine (he's in my lap when I'm on the computer) but he's pretty cranky otherwise. I think he's still recovering from our big weekend. I'll put him in the sling and get to work soon!
