    Default Monday Morning

What's everyone up to today? How's your weather? Our's is still cold at 15 f. but it's not supposed to snow anymore...for several days. We might get some tonight however and that's ok with us as we've been too dry for too long.

I've got some things to do today that I was too tired to do all weekend.

    ~unpack
    ~laundry
    ~put away luggage
    ~workout
    ~cook chicken tortilla soup
    ~post 2 credit card bills
    ~more laundry

I hope you all have a wonderful, productive and warm day

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

*We're debt freeeeeeeee! (including the house)*

    Good morning!
It's chilly here too. Lisa, I can't believe it's the same temp there as it is here in Northern NY!! Freaky weather lol. We got a little bit of snow overnight, supposed to get scattered snow showers all week. Lovely.

Today is my first day of college classes (my online one started last week). I've already worked out, now I need to shower & dress before I have to be there in an hour. I'll do the rest of my list when I get home:

    ~load & run the dishwasher
    ~wash/dry laundry
    ~put away folded laundry
~remind dh to pick up ds's prescription
    ~call to reschedule two appts

Not sure of the temp outside but we got a light blanket of snow on the ground, not much since no school delays.

Today is kind of overcast with slushy snow everwhere

    I have already:

    Got dd#1 off to school
Dressed both of the little ones
    Showered and dressed myself
    Fed all animals
    Cleaned out litter box
    Emptied dishwasher
    Made beds

    Still to do today:
Hang laundry in washer, start a load of darks, finish all laundry
    Wash ds's sheets (little accident)
    Vacuum upstairs and downstairs
    Make some iced tea
    Figure out what's for dinner
    Mop floors
Pick up dd#1 from Brownies @4:00
    Fix/clean up dinner
    Bath kids/put to bed
    Watch 'Prison Break'
    Do some cross-stitching (I hope)

We got about 4 inches of snow yesterday. Then they predicted freezing rain on top of it for overnight. I wake up this morning and its about 34 and no freezing rain thank goodness.
My youngest sons car has some type of leak in the gas tank. Our garage is attached to the house and when I came home yesterday I could smell gasoline. I woke my son up and we searched everywhere then noticed a puddle under his car. Dh came home last night and said the tank may have to be replaced. I am praying it doesn't.
    So today:
    Let my pets out
    cleaned up the kitchen
    Put stuff into Quicken
Taking son to get hair cut
    Going to Walmart
    Washing whites
    vaccumming
I think I'll fix hamburgers for dh and son and I'm having turkey burgers

Everyone have a good day and stay warm.

Busy day here too already. Dog woke me at 5:30am barking at a strange cat on the back porch. DH went out the door at 6am to Davenport today to prime the outside of a New Applebees. Weather is perfect for outside painting today just a light breeze and now about 72.

    Me so far I've:
emtpied dishwasher filled and run again (cleaning up some of the dishware from last weeks clean out)
run a couple of rugs throught the washer
a load of towels in the dryer
packed up a box for my Amish friend in Ohio ( sewing stuff and quilting mags from the clean out)
packed up another box for frugal Mom but haven't closed it up yet - still have a few more bags to go throught first
    Took DD to school
Stopped at PO and mailed off 3 boxes - yarn away!
Put porkchops in the sink to thaw
Now I'm gonna go out and make piles in the driveway for freecyclers who are coming throughtout the day picking up stuff maybe I'll find the floor!

    Enjoy the day!

No school here, so we're having a somewhat layed back day around our house.
    Already today I have:
    Made the beds
    Washed 3 loads of laundry
    Made breakfast for all
Got DH out the door to work, luckily he's working right up the road today. The roads are still very icy here.
    Feed the dogs
Took steaks out of the freezer for dinner
    Later I need to:
    Wipe down the boys bathroom
    Wipe down my bathroom
    Vacuum
Sweep the kitchen and dining room floors
    Cook dinner, clean up
    RELAX
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

We didn't get much snow last night, though the plows were out. It was about 20* here, but not windy so it wasn't to bad.

    So far today I have:
    Made the bed
    Swiffered the floors
    Ran the vaccuum
Fed the dogs and let them out
    Got kids off to school
    Shoveled the driveway and sidewalk
Shoveled the sidewalk in front of neighbor's house
Got a load of laundry going

If my energy level stays like this, I'll be done by noon and will be able to read for a while!

My kids don't have school today, so we are off to a rather lazy day. We all slept in and so far the only chore accomplished is the dishwasher is running. I did call and cancel my newspaper subscription. I have only gotten my paper delivered one sunday this month, so we have been running to town to buy the paper.....very unfrugal paying for that darn thing twice. Making lasagna for dinner tonight, plan on making 2 so I can freeze one for another meal. Only other thing planned for today is to get the kids toys picked up and clean the floors before dh gets home from work.
